Day 7: Sisters

Oh my goodness gracious it was a long day today.  It started at 7:30 and the kids are still awake (it’s 9:30).  But, it was a good long day.  For the first time in ages I just sat down and played with my kids for a good long while.  We made a huge mess of the playroom, and I discovered that the mess doesn’t seem as bad when you helped make it.  I guess that’s the way the kids see it, too.  We played pretend birthday party, made an obstacle course, built MB a house, and made brownies, and the three older kids ran around in their underwear in capes and wearing sunglasses — even L.  Yes, that’s right, it was his first day as a superhero.  I think he did just fine.  I’d post a pic of that, except, well, the kids are in their underwear.  M and I spent about an hour this afternoon cleaning and disinfecting the exersaucer.  I can’t put into words how excited M was for MB to play in it.  She was almost quivering with excitement.  MB, for her part, loved the thing and promptly pooped as soon as I put her in it.  All my kids have pooped every time I put them in the exersaucer.  EVERY. TIME.  Why?  I don’t know.  Do you know?  It’s insane.  The above is a pic of MB and M together.  Sisters, 4 years apart.  Do you think they look alike?
