Day 8: Hand, Foot, and Mouth

Disease, that is. It’s been going around, and L picked it up. I spotted a single sore in his mouth this morning, and a few hours later they were all over his hands and feet and his mouth was full of them. Not fun, but after an all-out assault on his discomfort, he’s feeling much better this evening. He’s had juice boxes, McDonald’s for lunch, his favorite movie over and over and over again (“Can You Name Twenty Trucks?” Yes, he can. We ALL can), and macaroni-and-cheese for dinner (not the boxed kind, the real fill your stomach with warm fuzzy nostalgia kind). He was feeling good enough this evening to climb around the couch with the other monsters, which is when I took this picture. It’s one of the blisters on his hand, and you can see a few on his foot in the background.
