Almost Done!

I changed my mind, yet again, and free-motion quilted L’s quilt after all.  I love the way it looks, and it was so very quick, kind of the instant gratification of quilting.  I used a different kind of thread than I normally use(Gutermann), and it was fabulous!  There’s no going back now; I’m sold.  For awhile I thought I wouldn’t have enough thread to finish the whole thing (unless I ordered more and waited for it to come in), since I bought the rest of this color at Joann’s and no other store here carries it.  Welcome to “small” town America.  But I ended up with just enough and now all I need to do is bind his little blanky, my favorite part of making a quilt!  Hurray!
