Garment Bag

For some reason I had it in my head that M’s pictures for ballet/tap were on Monday (silly me, they’re actually next week!), and so I spent all day stressing about how to get a white leotard and a zillion yards of white tulle and red sequins to and from dance class without them getting stained or snagged. I could use a few Walmart sacks . . . or I could use a yard of Alexander Henry Apples and Pears that I had saved for a family member’s Christmas gift. Gotta go with the Alexander Henry, right? Sorry, family member. After an hour and a half of fending off the older kids while the little ones napped, this little garment bag was born. I kind of love it. And I think it’ll keep M’s dance costumes a lot safer than a few Walmart sacks, don’t you think?
