Letter Tee

“Celebrate the Boy” month last month at Made by Rae and Made (seriously, go visit these sites if you want some adorable boy patterns and tutorials!) as well as a sale on solid knits at Joann’s inspired me to make this letter Tee for my oldest son. I simply traced an outline of a well-fitting tee, added seam allowances, and appliqued the “N” using fusible webbing. The whole thing, from start to finish, only took a few hours. I didn’t finish until around midnight, however, and when he woke up for a drink of water, I couldn’t resist trying it on him. He was very tired and a little angry with me, but before you feel too sorry for him, know that I did give him an M&M for his trouble.

Also, please ignore the heaping hampers of dirty laundry in the background. Who worries about laundry when there’s sewing to be done?
