Eater Recap

Easter came and went in our household with lots of time with family, several Easter egg hunts, and, of course, Easter clothing. I spent most of last week working on the girls’ dresses, and this past Saturday night found me assembling four green satin ties and running to Walmart to buy my toddler a dress shirt. But it was all totally worth it. I love the way the girls’ dresses turned out, although I promise — PROMISE, I tell you! — never to sew with 100% polyester again. Life is just too short.

The girls’ dresses are from Butterick 3350 and McCall’s 5791. The boys’ ties are from Simplicity 4762. You can see my reviews for all of these patterns on my page at

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter!
