That’s what I’ve named my new (old) Bernette 334D. That’s right, folks, I am now the proud owner of a 20+-year-old overlocker given to me by my very kind mother-in-law. I had to hunt down a used foot for it, and my husband bought me some thread and had it all set up for me. Unfortunately, when I got it out to try it, I had to re-thread it, and that alone took me two and a half hours. Whew. At some point, a bug actually crawled out of the machine. Ew! I have to say, though, that the previous owner was very, very careful with this machine and it’s in great condition. It just chugs right along, and all the reviews I’ve read online say that it’s great. We shall see. For now, doesn’t it just look fantastic?
